Darryl and Andie's combined background in performance, theatre production, arts marketing and corporate entertainment led to the formation of their own business ‘Lovegrove Entertainment’.

 

 DARRYL LOVEGROVE - Artistic Director  

Darryl and his former business partner created "The Three Waiters"- an operatic entertianment concept that 'revolutionised' corporate entertainment around the world.  Under their direction, the act went global with offices in Sydney, Los Angelese, New York, London and Bogata Colombia.  Seen by more than 3 million people in over 70 countries, the act received several international industry awards and earned a seal of approval from the world's greatest opera singers, in the form of standing ovation from "The Three Tenors" before he sold his shareholding to pursue other interests.

Darryl's award winning portrayal of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar established him as one of  of Australia's most powerful and versatile voices. He has also featured in numerous musicals including Les Miserables, Chess, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber with Sarah Brightman, and won crictical acclaim playing John Lennon in Looking Through a Glass Onion. He has toured with Glenn Shorrock, orignal members of NZ’s “Split Enz” and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and made numerous televsion variety appearances.  Darryl is an established Keynote Speaker, MC and facilitator and sits on the Board of ISES.    

 

ANDIE LOVEGROVE – Marketing Manager

The Producer of the National NZ Tour of "Looking Through a Glass Onion", and a Babies Proms Orchestral Series for children on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Andie has worked at The Sydney Opera House, NIDA, Ninemsn and Celebrity Speaker's Bureau, Sydney.

A graduate in drama from Auckland University, Andie performed lead roles in NZ casts of The Rocky Horror Show and Foreskin’s Lament, and received a NZ Film Commission nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Illustrious Energy before moving to Australia where she performed in NZ/Aust casts of Evita,  Grease and The Rocky Horror Show, TV Mini-series The Rainbow Warrior Consipracy, BBC’s Boys from the Bush, Police Rescue, Home & Away and played the title role in The Princess and the Pea at The Sydney Opera House.  She has appeared in lead roles in Deadly Women and Behind Mansion Walls produced by Beyond International.
